Senior Project Coordinator

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to join the JDM team and take a leading role in the delivery of our civil and concrete projects.

Working closely with our Operations Manager, Estimating, site teams and clients, you’ll coordinate projects from pre-construction and mobilisation through to delivery and close-out. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, keeping projects organised and ensuring our teams have what they need to deliver great work.

You’ll also provide day-to-day guidance and support to our Junior Project Coordinator.

• Coordinate project handover, mobilisation and pre-construction readiness.

• Keep multiple live projects organised, planned and moving.

• Coordinate labour, plant, materials, subcontractors and procurement requirements.

• Manage project documentation including drawings, RFIs, variations, registers and approvals.

• Support commercial administration, cost tracking, purchase orders and project variations.

• Coordinate quality and WHS requirements including SWMS, ITPs, inspections and project records.

• Build strong working relationships with builders, clients, consultants, suppliers and site teams.

• Identify project risks, constraints and upcoming requirements before they impact delivery.

• Guide and support the Junior Project Coordinator.

• Coordinate project handover and close-out documentation.

You’re an organised and proactive construction professional who enjoys taking ownership and making things happen.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• 4+ years’ experience in project coordination, contract administration or project delivery.

• Experience within civil, concrete or commercial construction.

• Confidence coordinating multiple projects and competing priorities.

• Strong understanding of drawings, scopes, programs, RFIs, variations and construction documentation.

• Experience coordinating procurement, subcontractors and project resources.

• Strong communication skills and commercial awareness.

• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and follow-through.

• Confidence working with Microsoft 365, Excel and construction management systems.

• The ability to guide, support and develop a junior team member.

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and White Card.
