Your new role awaits…

The Art Coordinator helps the design team create and manage packaging and product artwork for EB Games' licensed pop culture merchandise. In this role, you'll build and update design templates, support the team with day-to-day design tasks, and have hands-on experience from design through to manufacturing. You'll work closely with the design, production and compliance teams, and numerous licensors around the globe. You'll get to work across a huge range of exciting IPs, helping create officially licensed merchandise — from apparel and homewares to collectables and accessories. You'll be a great planner and prioritise across multiple projects at once, while also staying agile for quick-to-market pivots.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Building, maintaining and continuously improving packaging and product design templates in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to support high-volume, multi-IP production.
  

• Coordinating artwork and tech pack handover between the design team and manufacturing suppliers, ensuring accuracy and production-readiness.
  

• Liaising with licensors to ensure branding, packaging and product designs meet IP guidelines and approval requirements.
  

• Working with compliance officers to ensure packaging and product designs meet regulatory, safety and labelling standards.

• Partnering with product developers to translate product specifications into accurate, production-ready design files.

• Communicating with manufacturing suppliers and printers to resolve artwork queries and support production timelines.
  

• Supporting Design Managers with day-to-day coordination of design workflow, prioritisation and deadlines across the team.
  

• Maintaining version control and organisation of master files, templates and artwork libraries.
  

• Identifing opportunities to streamline design and production processes as the product range grows.

This role is based at our Store Support Centre in Eagle Farm, Queensland. Applicants must either live in Brisbane or be willing to relocate for the role.

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you will have:

• 1-2+ years' experience in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator; exposure to Photoshop, Bridge and Acrobat is a plus.

• A qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Packaging Design or a related field (degree, diploma, or equivalent).

• Some industry experience in a product and/or fashion design-related setting, such as an internship, placement, freelance work, or junior role.

• Confident written communication skills, with a willingness to liaise with a range of stakeholders via Outlook and direct messaging.

• Strong attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn production and manufacturing processes.

The following would be advantageous (but not required):

• Product design experience, including apparel, homewares and accessories.

• Exposure to licensed and Intellectual Property design and production.

• Any experience communicating with printers or manufacturers.
