Industrial Electrician (A-Grade) – Sydney, NSW

MMT Recruitment is partnering with a growing specialist engineering and automation business to recruit an experienced A-Grade Industrial Electrician for project-based work across Sydney, with some interstate travel.

This is an opportunity for an electrician who takes pride in high-quality installations, enjoys industrial project work, and wants to be part of a small but professional team delivering work for major industrial and automation clients.

The Role

• Industrial electrical installations and project work
  
  

• Wiring and commissioning from electrical drawings
  
  

• Panel builds and tidy, high-standard installations
  
  

• PLC fault finding (Allen Bradley preferred)
  
  

• Customer-facing work across Sydney sites
  
  

• Occasional interstate travel for project installations
  
  

• Working independently on small jobs and collaboratively on larger projects
  
  

About You

• NSW unrestricted A-Grade Electrical Licence (essential)
  
  

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial or project-based electrical work
  
  

• Strong experience with industrial wiring and working from electrical drawings
  
  

• PLC fault-finding experience preferred (training supported if developing skills)
  
  

• CAD exposure advantageous
  
  

• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
  
  

• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  
  

• Professional presentation and strong time management
  
  

• Willingness to travel across Sydney; interstate travel advantageous
  
  

• Full Australian working rights and current driver’s licence
