Salary: AUD $70,000 – $80,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience) plus superannuation

Chancery Lane Montessori Pty Ltd is a licensed early childhood education and care provider committed to delivering high-quality education and care for children in a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Child Care Worker to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF).
• Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs appropriate to children's developmental needs.
• Promote children's physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic and stimulating learning environment.
• Observe children's progress and communicate effectively with families regarding their development.
• Assist children with meals, hygiene, rest and daily routines.
• Work collaboratively with educators, families and management.
• Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, workplace policies and child protection requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher (or overseas equivalent).
• At least one year of relevant full-time work experience as a Child Care Worker or Early Childhood Educator.
• Current Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain before commencement).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.

Desirable

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).
• Experience working in a long day care or preschool environment.
• Montessori experience or qualification valued
