Lead the Next ChapterLead one of Australia's most respected women's legal services and help shape the future of access to justice, safety, and support for women across Central Australia. Reporting to the Board, you will lead strategy, governance, and culture across Central Australia and the Barkly region.
Your ResponsibilitiesLead organisational strategy, future growth, and financial sustainabilitySupport the Board through effective governance and risk managementBuild strong stakeholder, community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partnershipsDevelop, support, and foster a collaborative multidisciplinary workforceChampion advocacy, community impact, and high-quality, culturally safe services
The Kind of Leader This Community NeedsLegal qualifications and a current Practising Certificate are preferred but non-essentialSenior leadership experience in legal, community, government, or not-for-profit sectorsUnderstanding of governance, strategy, and organizational managementExperience working with remote communities and domestic and family violence issuesProven ability in securing funding, advocacy, and managing complex stakeholder relationships
