About the role
We are looking for a creative, energetic, and highly knowledgeable Social Media & Content Creator to own our brand's online presence. This is a flexible hybrid role requiring regular visits to our production facility in Perth to shoot raw content, combined with remote work for editing, strategy, and daily community management.
Key responsibilities
Visit our Perth production facility twice a month to capture high-quality videos and photos of our greenhouses, plant packing, and rare species
Shoot, edit, and post 3 engaging TikToks/Instagram Reels per week focusing on aquascaping tips, plant care, and behind-the-scenes action
Monitor our social media pages daily, answer hobbyist questions, and actively engage in Australian aquarium forums and Facebook groups
Coordinate online aquascaping competitions, giveaway campaigns, and "Free Sample" ambassador programs that connect hobbyists with local fish shops
Feature and tag our retail stockists to help drive hobbyists directly into their local brick-and-mortar stores
About you
You must actively participate in or deeply understand the aquarium / aquascaping hobby
Proven experience creating, editing, and growing short-form video channels (TikTok, Reels)
Access to a modern smartphone or camera setup capable of crisp macro plant shots and stable video
Must be based in the Greater Perth area with reliable transport to visit our facility
