RivMed is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation committed to improving the health, wellbeing and future of Aboriginal people, families and communities. Through our Aboriginal Family Preservation Program, we work alongside families to keep children safe at home, strengthen family relationships and ensure children remain connected to culture, community and Country.
We're looking for an organised, reliable and values-driven Compliance, Quality and Brokerage Officer to join our Aboriginal Family Preservation team. This is an opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality, culturally safe family preservation services through accurate administration, data management, quality checks and coordination of brokerage support for families.
About the Role
As the Compliance, Quality and Brokerage Officer, you'll provide administrative and program support to the Aboriginal Family Preservation Program across compliance, quality assurance, data management and brokerage administration.
Working closely with the Manager Casework, Service Coordinators and Family Caseworkers, you'll assist with routine file reviews, data checks and administrative processes to ensure client records and program documentation are accurate, complete and maintained in accordance with RivMed policies and Aboriginal Family Preservation program requirements.
You'll also assist with the administration of Family Preservation brokerage funding, including processing approved requests, maintaining records, tracking expenditure and supporting the acquittal of brokerage funding in accordance with relevant guidelines and RivMed procedures.
This is a practical support role that will help the AFP team maintain accurate records, meet reporting requirements and provide timely support to families.

The Aboriginal Family Preservation (AFP) Compliance, Quality and Brokerage Officer supports the effective delivery of RivMed's Aboriginal Family Preservation Program by providing organisational, administrative and practice support across compliance, quality assurance, data management and brokerage administration. Working collaboratively with the AFP Manager Casework, Service Coordinators and Caseworkers, the position assists in ensuring client records, reporting requirements, policies, procedures and brokerage processes are accurate, timely and aligned with Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) funding agreements, legislative requirements and organisational standards. The role undertakes routine quality assurance activities, file audits and data integrity checks to support compliance with DCJ operational requirements and promote consistent, high-quality practice across the program. The position also coordinates the administration of brokerage funding, ensuring expenditure is accurately documented, appropriately approved and managed in accordance with DCJ Brokerage Guidelines and organisational procedures. Through strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to culturally safe practice, the position contributes to continuous service improvement and supports the delivery of high-quality services that help Aboriginal children remain safely with their families, communities and culture.
