Compliance Manager – Non bank lender

This leading residential, Commercial Mortgages and Asset Finance non bank lender organisation has risen above competitors in a competitive market the last few years implementing many key changes to make it the market leader in its sector. Reporting to the Head of Compliance you will be part of a dynamic team of like minded professionals. This role has plenty of scope to grow your compliance and legally focused career within the lucrative residential Mortgages and Asset Finance markets

This role will be to use your compliance background to conduct, train and manage compliance within the company
Responsibilities include:

• Manage the groups compliance management framework. Line 2 focus
• Perform activities including training and managing the groups ACL and AFSL licenses 
• Assessing incidents and breaches and reporting when required
• Manage regulatory engagements with regulators including ASIC and authorities
• Manage regulatory chance and ensure compliance with all obligations
• Preparing and presenting reports on compliance related matters to management

Key to this role will be your ability to work in an operational and compliance environment, working closely with key stakeholders and be a self starter. This is an opportunity to use your compliance background preferably from within the residential Mortgages, Mortgage Broking or asset Finance sectors
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of consumer credit laws. You will also have excellent written and communication skills, be able to work under your own initiative and are results driven.
Need a knowledge base in NCCP or similar.
A legal background would be highly desirable but not essential
Will look at overseas backgrounds also that are suitable with Australian permanent residency
