Accounts Payable Officer

About the role

This immediate start, 4 month contract (0.6 – 0.8 FTE) is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable officer looking for a flexible part-time role within a supportive finance team. Based out of the head office in Flemington, a position exists for an Accounts Payable officer to assist with the provision of services to the Victorian Country Racing Clubs in a shared services environment. This exciting and challenging opportunity will see you contribute to the financial sustainability of the industry by delivering accurate and timely Accounts support to entities participating in CRV's Shared Services Initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurate processing of creditor invoices for multiple entities
• Timely and accurate payment of suppliers
• Timely and accurate raising of invoices for external customers
• Assist in completion of bank reconciliations
• Ensure the integrity of accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank functions
• Preparation of ad-hoc reports and tasks as required

About you

• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive under a high volume processing environment
• Relevant experience in bank reconciliations, accounts payable and/or receivable
• Experience using Netsuite is highly desirable
• Valid Australian work rights are required for this position
