Asbestos Auditor

Melbourne | Full-time

JTA Health, Safety & Noise Specialists is seeking an experienced Asbestos and Hazardous Materials Auditor to join our Melbourne team.

You will conduct routine and invasive asbestos and hazardous materials audits across commercial, industrial, retail and government properties.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Division 5 asbestos audits and register updates

• Division 6 and invasive refurbishment or demolition surveys

• Hazardous materials audits

• Sampling and coordination of laboratory analysis

• Preparing clear technical reports and practical recommendations

• Managing projects and providing advice directly to clients

You will have:

• At least four years’ experience conducting routine and invasive asbestos audits

• Strong asbestos and hazardous materials identification skills

• Knowledge of Victorian asbestos legislation and compliance requirements

• The ability to independently conduct assessments and prepare quality reports

• Be willing to travel as required to service national contracts

• Strong client communication skills

• A current Australian driver’s licence

Asbestos assessor qualifications, occupational hygiene experience and professional memberships will be highly regarded.
