Freedom Screens of Australia is a leading Australian manufacturer of premium retractable insect screens. Based in Luscombe, we pride ourselves on producing high-quality Australian-made products and maintaining a supportive, team-focused workplace.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for reliable and motivated Production Assistants to join our powder coating facility.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality and attention to detail are essential.

Working within a small team of 4–5 people, you'll play an important role in producing and preparing high-quality aluminium components. Depending on your strengths, you'll primarily work in either our cutting or packing area while assisting with general duties around the facility as required.

Your Duties

Your responsibilities may include:

• Reading and following production job sheets.
• Measuring and cutting aluminium extrusion accurately.
• Inspecting powder-coated aluminium for scratches, dents and coating imperfections.
• Applying protective tape to finished products.
• Carefully packaging products ready for dispatch.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Assisting with general duties around the powder coating facility as required.

• Is physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Works well as part of a small team.
• Has a positive attitude and is willing to help wherever needed.

Previous factory, manufacturing or warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential. We're happy to train someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Seasonal Overtime

Freedom Screens is a seasonal business, with our busiest period occurring throughout Spring, Summer and Autumn. During these months, successful applicants will be expected to work reasonable additional hours, including overtime when required, to help meet customer demand.
