Electrician

What you will do:

We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our Mackay Electrical Services operation. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will carry out electrical works for Ampcontrol customers and ensuring their overall satisfaction with our products and services.

Typical duties include:

• Electrical equipment assembly and maintenance
• Panel and PLC wiring
• Installation of HV switchgear and components
• Overhaul and inspection of Ex d equipment
• Transformer overhauls

What are we looking for from you?:

Your strong service-oriented mindset, coupled with excellent time management skills, will be complemented by the following:

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent)
• Electrical Trade Certificate is essential
• High voltage and/or electrical mining machinery experience
• Experience working within a high-risk environment

These roles are not offered as FIFO positions therefore you must reside in Mackay, QLD or be willing to relocate to Mackay to be successful.
