Our Regional & Agribusiness Banking team partners with commercial clients (turnovers $3M–$150M) to deliver tailored financial solutions that drive sustainable growth.
 

An exciting opportunity for an Analyst has become available. As an Analyst, you’ll support Relationship Executives on a range of credit deals and build strong client relationships along the way, and will be focussed on writing credit papers for a portfolio of diversified commercial clients.
 

Whether you're local to the ACT, Batemans Bay, Bega or Merimbula area – or ready to make the move to the ACT – we'd love to hear from you if you bring Credit Analysis or Accounting experience.

What you’ll do

• Conduct financial modelling and credit analysis using market-leading tools

• Write and submit credit papers while meeting banker/client needs and within CommBank’s policies.

• Partner with Relationship Executives to understand customer needs

• Research industries and maintain customer insights

• Identify risks and opportunities, and recommend proactive solutions

• Build strong internal and external relationships
   

About the team

You’ll join a diverse team of ~10 Analysts and Account Managers who are passionate about sharing knowledge and supporting each other’s growth.
 

What you’ll bring

• Experience analysing financial statements and complex credit deals - this could be from Credit/Banking background or accounting, broking or re-structuring experience.

• A curious, analytical mindset and strong attention to detail

• A team-first attitude and eagerness to learn

• Passion for supporting regional businesses and communities

• A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
