About the Role

This role is based within Cleaver Heritage Café, a warm and welcoming café nestled in our vibrant Rosewood West Perth aged care facility. You will lead daily food preparation and service from Wednesday to Sunday (7am–2.30pm), delivering high‑quality meals, exceptional customer service and a positive dining experience for residents, visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook café menu items to a high standard
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Manage stock levels, ordering and daily kitchen operations
• Work collaboratively to deliver a friendly and efficient café environment
• Contribute ideas to menu development and seasonal offerings

About You

Essential

• Commercial cookery qualification or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work independently and within a small team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Availability Wednesday to Sunday, 7am–2.30pm

Desirable

• Experience in café or fast-paced hospitality environments
• Barista skills and menu design experience

Mandatory Requirements

• National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Australian working rights
