We're looking for an experienced carpet installer to join Choices Flooring Mackay, one of the region's leading residential and commercial flooring businesses. Whether you want the security of full time wages or the freedom of contracting, we have consistent, well organised work ready to go.

Choose the setup that suits you:

• Full Time Employee: $80,000 to $110,000 + superannuation per year on wages, depending on experience.

• Contractor: $40 per lineal metre + GST, with extras payable on top (uplift and disposal, stair work, subfloor prep and more).

• Steady pipeline of residential and commercial work, booked and coordinated for you.

• Quality products from Australia's leading flooring brands.

• Professional in-house sales and admin team handling quoting, scheduling and customer communication so you can focus on installing.

• Locally owned and operated with a reputation built on quality workmanship.

• Supportive team environment where good trades are valued and respected.

• Installation of carpet across residential and commercial projects in Mackay and surrounding areas.

• Working from detailed job sheets and plans with materials organised and ready.

• Delivering a quality finish that meets Australian Standards and our customers' expectations.

• Communicating professionally with customers on site.

• Proven experience installing carpet to a high standard.

• Own tools and reliable vehicle (contractor applicants).

• Current driver's licence.

• White Card (or willingness to obtain).

• Pride in your workmanship and a professional attitude on site.

• Ability to work independently and manage your time.

• QBCC licence advantageous but not essential.
