As we expand our operations in 2026 with a new workshop facility, we are seeking skilled and motivated Boilermaker / Welders to join our team. The Role

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, our Boilermaker / Welders are responsible for the quality fabrication of:

• Underground escapeways

• Pneumatic vent doors

• Personnel access doors

• Vent brattices & DBRs

• Paste walls

• Dewatering pipework (poly and steel)

• Pumping infrastructure, and more

What We Are Looking For

We value experience, but we’re also committed to training motivated individuals with the right attitude. Key requirements include:

• Essential Criteria

  • Certificate III in Engineering (Metal Fabrication) is essential

  • Experience fabricating to AS/NZS 1554.1 standards

  • Ability to pass a weld test

  • C-Class Driver’s License

  • Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one)

• Desirable Criteria

  • Experience fabricating pipework

  • Coded welding experience

  • Fork Lift License

  • HR License

  • Rigging Ticket

• Work Readiness: Physically fit and capable of passing a pre-employment medical, functional assessment, and drug and alcohol screening.

• Commitment to Safety: A proven track record of adhering to safety systems and maintaining high standards in quality of work and housekeeping.
