Role Description This full-time, on-site AHPRA Registered Nurse role is based in Perth, WA. The nurse will provide safe, evidence-based clinical care, including patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and monitoring of clinical status. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating and documenting patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting discharge planning and follow-up. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, ensuring adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. The nurse will also educate patients and families, support junior staff, and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Demonstrated clinical nursing skills in assessment, care planning, medication administration, and patient monitoring.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.Knowledge of Australian healthcare standards, infection prevention, and safety protocols.Experience with electronic medical records and basic digital literacy for clinical documentation.Ability to prioritize workload, manage time effectively, and respond calmly in urgent or complex situations.Commitment to person-centered care, ethical practice, and respect for diverse backgrounds and needs.Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification; post-graduate studies or specialty experience (e.g., acute, community, aged care) are an advantage.
