Boatyard labourer/ painter detailer

About the role

This hands-on role involves assisting with boat painting, surface preparation, detailing, launching operations, and general boatyard duties. You will work on a variety of vessels including classic timber boats, restorations, maintenance projects, and new builds.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with vessel launching and retrieval

• Boat washing, detailing and polishing

• Sanding, surface preparation and paint application

• Assisting with vessel launching and retrieval

• General boatyard labouring and maintenance

• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment

• Supporting tradespeople across a range of marine projects

About you

• Reliable, hardworking and physically fit

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Able to work effectively within a team

• Previous marine, automotive, painting or trade experience highly regarded
