Architect / Project Development Manager

Developcorp Pty Ltd is a Property Development and Construction company that specialises in mixed use development. We are searching for a motivated Architect/Project Development Manager who shares our passion for high-end residential and mixed-use development. The role offers the opportunity to work in a creative design-focused environment with involvement across all project phases including concept design, planning and documentation. The successful candidate must be able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities

 •        Working with External Architects

•        Preliminary and Schematic architectural design 

•        Full lifecycle of residential development for Class 2 buildings from planning approvals and concept drawings to delivery of project

•        Concept design, DA application, Design Development

•        Coordinating with consultants and local councils to ensure project compliance with NCC, DDA, LEPs, DCPs, AS, ADG and relevant Australian Standards

•        Preparing and managing DA, CDC and CC documentation packages, coordinating inputs from specialist consultants, stakeholders, councils and builders

•        Attend project meetings to address planning, design, and construction issues during early project stages

•        Identify new development opportunities, contributing to pipeline growth and strategic business development

•        PP Documentation and Report Preparation

•        Façade Design

•        Preparation of SSDA Package / SDRP

•        Architectural Documentation & Coordination / Design Management

•        Review site specific reports/approvals to ensure all necessary requirements are reflected in the development design.

The Successful Applicant will require the following skills

•        Multi-residential, single residential, and mixed-use projects

•        Concept design and design development

•        BCA/NCC and council compliance

•        DA, CC and CDC management, liaison with councils, planners, and authorities  

•        Client and consultant coordination

•        Liaising with councils and private certifiers

·       End-to-End Residential Development Management – Townhouse, multi-unit, and high-rise projects; full project lifecycle from acquisition to handover

Technical Skills

ArchiCAD, Revit, AutoCAD, Aconex, Sketch Up, Lumion, Twinmotion, Rhinoceros 5 & 6 Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Procore

Remuneration is dependent upon your qualification and experience.
