About the role

An opportunity for Southern Adelaide-based Support Workers to have steady and reliable work with various shift times available. Shifts are primarily active overnights (11:00 PM - 9:00 AM), 7 days a week. Some daytime and afternoon availability is also beneficial. Knowledge and experience in manual handling is preferred.

Must be able and willing to provide:

• Proficient experience in Manual Handling - Assisting with getting participants in and out of bed.

• Knowledge of diabetes management - Confidence and understanding of how to manage diabetes is preferred.

• Domestic assistance - general tidying, meal preparation.

• Activities of daily living - therapy-led activities, hobbies, advocacy.

• Personal care - showering, toileting, dressing, general hygiene, and grooming assistance.

About you

• Flexible availability across primarily overnights, daytime, afternoons, and weekends.

• An approachable personality that keeps things light and fun while maintaining a client-centered focus

• Ability to think creatively, take ownership, and follow through with activities that benefit and positively stimulate client interests.

• Own a Car and have a full driver's licence

• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain).

• National Police Check (or willing to obtain).

• Working with Children Clearance (or willing to obtain).

• Experience in Manual Handling

• A minimum of 1 year of disability support experience is strongly preferred.
