Integration Engineer

Job Description

Location: Melbourne (Hybrid) Open to interstate candidates in WA, QLD, NSW 

We're partnering with a leading organisation in the utilities sector to recruit an experienced Integration Engineer to support the delivery and integration of critical operational technology (OT) systems.

This role will suit someone with a strong background in automation, system integration, and operational environments such as energy, utilities, or other critical infrastructure. You'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining integrations that support real-time operational systems and control room technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and support system integrations across operational technology environments.
• Build and maintain integration pipelines and automation scripts.
• Develop and optimise automation solutions using tools such as Python, Jenkins and/or Ansible.
• Integrate applications and operational systems to support reliable data flow and system performance.
• Work closely with technical teams to deliver scalable, resilient integration solutions.
• Support the delivery and ongoing enhancement of critical control room and operational systems.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Experience as an Integration Engineer or in a similar systems integration role.
• Experience working within Operational Technology (OT) environments.
• Exposure to control room systems, energy grid operations, or other critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong automation skills, with experience using one or more of:
  • Python
  • Jenkins
  • Ansible
• Experience building scripts, automation workflows and integration pipelines.
• An understanding of, or experience with, TETRA technologies or TETRA-based delivery would be highly regarded.
