Service Advisor/Tyre Sales

Bridgestone Select Launceston is seeking a Sales/Auto Service Advisor.

As one of the largest B-Select stores in the Country, we perform auto service and mechanical work, supply and fit tyres for passenger/4x4 vehicles, heavy vehicles, industrial and agricultural equipment.

You would be part of a team of 15, at a modern site with new high end equipment, and some of the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the Country (96% vs National average of 88% - Google ratings of 4.7 stars).

 Working front of house as a primary contact point for the 3 divisions of the business: Retail, Mechanical, Commercial, your day consists of:

1. Greeting customers in a professional and friendly manner

2. Discussing/selling tyre and/or auto servicing requirements with customers in person and via telephone/emails

3. Scheduling bookings in conjunction within the relevant departments of the business

4. Liaising with tyre and auto technicians regarding customer non-standard requirements

5. Providing customers with updates on their vehicle progress and any issues that have arisen

6. Processing customer payments and ensuring accurate information on invoices

7. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

8. Addressing customer concerns and resolving any issues in a prompt and professional manner

Criteria

1. Sales experience - preferably with tyres, or a strong knowledge of tyres from personal life (4x4, motor racing interests)

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

3. Experience with Marlin GTX or other automotive workshop software highly desired, however training will be provided

4. Self motivated and a desire to load share with colleagues when required

5. Demonstrate honesty and integrity at all times with customers

6. Be reliable and punctual on a daily basis

7. Possess a current drivers’ licence (manual endorsement gets a high five!)

8. Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.

9. Ability to make decisions

10. Time management abilities, manage customer appointments and monitor progress through the workshop

11. Proficiency in using computer systems and a willingness to learn.

12. Ability to explain information to a range of customers from diverse demographics

13. Attention to detail and accuracy in completing documentation
