About the role
$68,943 per annum (Level 7 Qualified)
At STARplex, we are looking for a dynamic person to work autonomously to digitally sell our diverse range of health and wellbeing activities across all age groups.
This new role combines analytical work with hands-on project coordination and client engagement. You’ll work closely with a small team to identify opportunities, manage priorities, and help ensure digital campaigns are delivered to a consistently high standard.
This person will play a hands-on role in content creation, email marketing, paid campaign execution, and marketing automation tools, ensuring consistent and meaningful messaging across multiple channels. The Digital Marketing officer works closely with internal stakeholders to articulate key messages and translate them into engaging content for different audiences and platforms.
Our goal is to help our members improve the performance of their digital experiences with us, whether buying our services or engaging with us. We require your digital campaign work to put the right information in front of the right audience at the right time.
About The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will coordinate and execute STARplex’ s digital marketing activities, ensuring our programs, services and events reach the right audiences through effective and engaging digital channels.
You will manage the day-to-day delivery of digital campaigns, maintain marketing schedules, analyse performance data and help strengthen the STARplex brand across all online platforms.
Key Responsibilities Include
Creating and publishing content across social media, websites and digital channelsDeveloping and managing content and marketing calendars to ensure timely campaign delivery Delivering paid advertising campaigns across Google, Meta and email marketing platformsProducing copy, graphics, photography and video contentMonitoring campaign performance and providing insights on engagement, traffic and lead generationSupporting website updates, SEO activities and digital communicationsCapturing and promoting STARplex events, programs and community activitiesEnsuring all content aligns with brand, accessibility and child safety requirementsWorking collaboratively with STARplex leaders and the Trinity College Marketing Team
What You’ll Bring
You are a creative storyteller with strong digital marketing skills and a passion for engaging communities through innovative content.
To Be Successful, You Will Demonstrate
Qualifications in Marketing, Communications or Digital Marketing1-2 years’ experience in digital marketing, content creation and campaign execution Experience managing social media platforms and paid advertising campaignsStrong copywriting, editing and communication skillsExperience creating visual content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar toolsSkills in photography, videography and video editingKnowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and digital marketing performance reportingExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesA proactive, collaborative and customer-focused approach:
Desirable Skills Include
Experience within the fitness, health, sport or wellbeing sectorExperience with social media management platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer or Sprout SocialAdvanced Google Ads and Meta Business Suite experience
Essential Requirements
Ability to meet pre-employment requirements within an education environment, including: Working with children check Agreement to Trinity College Child Safe Policies Completion of Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect trainingWillingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for events and activities
