ENDOSCOPY Nurses

About the role

Join our dedicated and friendly team at Open Endoscopy as an ENDOSCOPY Registered and Endorsed Nurse on a casual basis. This role will see you providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures in our state-of-the-art Day Hospitals located in Coburg and Sunshine, VIC.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the preparation and set-up of endoscopy suites and equipment

• Monitoring patients before, during and after endoscopic procedures

• Administering medications and providing nursing care as directed by medical staff

• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation

• Ensuring a high standard of infection control and patient safety at all times

• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA

• Substantial experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, particularly in endoscopies and colonoscopies

• Demonstrated expertise in infection control, patient monitoring and medication administration

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with patients, families and the healthcare team

• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to work calmly under pressure

• A commitment to providing the highest standards of patient-centered care
