We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to become the financial heartbeat of our pie manufacturing business. If you love manufacturing, enjoy partnering with operational leaders, can tell a story through numbers and get a little too excited about inventory accuracy (we won't judge), this could be your perfect recipe.

What you'll be baking

You'll be the finance lead for our GD Pies operation, partnering with the Plant Operations Manager and leadership team to ensure every pie is as profitable as it is delicious.

You'll be rolling up your sleeves to:

• Own monthly financial reporting, management accounts and board reporting.

• Turn manufacturing data into commercial insights that help us make smarter decisions.

• Know exactly what every pie costs to make through world-class product and standard costing.

• Keep inventory accurate, valued correctly and under control (because pastry doesn't count itself).

• Evaluate exciting capital projects—from new equipment to factory improvements—using DCFs, NPVs and payback analysis.

• Support pricing, new product development and customer profitability with commercial modelling.

• Lead the finance side of our Odoo ERP journey, making sure our systems are as efficient as our production lines.

• Partner with operations, procurement, production, quality and warehouse teams to drive continuous improvement.

Who you are

You're more than an accountant.

You're someone who enjoys walking the factory floor as much as working in Excel.

You ask why, not just what.

You love solving problems, simplifying complexity and helping operational leaders make better decisions.

You'll bring:

· CA or CPA qualification

· Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or food production (a real bonus)

· Strong management reporting and financial control experience

· Product costing, standard costing and inventory expertise

· Commercial modelling and business partnering skills

· Experience with ERP systems (bonus points if you've worked with Odoo)

· Confidence communicating with everyone from production supervisors to executives
