Draftsperson

We are currently seeking a reliable, self-motivated and professional Drafts Person to join our team. The successful applicant will play a vital role in supporting the Fabrication team, with detailed and accurate drawings.

Suitable candidates must be able to demonstrate the follow:

• Develop technical drawings based on given specifications and calculations.

• Create and design innovative Concepts/3D Prototypes depicted by Clients.

• Ensure implementation of practices to the relevant Australian Standards.

• Process and export parts in preparation for job ordering.

• Ensure high attention to detail and quality of work.

• To be able to communicate effectively with team members.

• Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

• Autodesk Inventor experience.

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in drafting, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

• Proficiency in CAD software Autodesk Inventor with the ability to produce detailed technical drawings.

• Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards, conventions and technical documentation practices.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

• Alternatively, someone with an engineering trade background who has experience using 3D CAD.
