Pastry Cook

G Lab Manufacturing Pty Ltd G-Lab Manufacturing Pty Ltd is currently looking for a full-time Pastrycook to join our team and our business located in Rydalmere. Your daily tasks will include:  Prepare and bake the cake base and bread dough Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes. Prepare doughs, batters and mochi products.

Prepare bread fillings, different types of flavoured creams and mousse inserts. Bake products and monitor baking times and oven temperatures. Decorate cakes, pastries and desserts to company standards.

Monitor the stock of ingredients and finished products. Operate and clean bakery equipment safely and correctly. Maintain a clean and hygienic work area in line with food safety requirements.

Assist with stock rotation and monitor ingredient supplies. Minimise waste by following production schedules and using ingredients efficiently. Work with the bakery team to complete daily production and customer orders.

Follow workplace health and safety policies and food hygiene procedures. Assist in developing new pastry products and seasonal menu items when required. Train and support junior staff or apprentices where required.
