Paint & Blast Supervisor

NACE 2 Paint & Blast Supervisor | FIFO Perth | 2&1 Roster
 
PCM Group is seeking an experienced NACE 2 Paint & Blast Supervisor for a long-term FIFO project on a 2&1 roster from Perth.

This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone with strong industrial blasting and protective coatings experience who can lead crews, maintain high quality standards and ensure work is delivered safely and efficiently.
The Role As Paint & Blast Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of blasting and coating activities on site, including:

• Leading and coordinating Paint & Blast crews
• Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to specification
• Monitoring surface preparation, environmental conditions and coating application
• Completing and maintaining QA/QC documentation
• Conducting inspections and identifying coating defects or non-conformances
• Coordinating daily work fronts, labour, equipment and materials
• Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents and client representatives
• Driving productivity while maintaining PCM Group's safety and quality standards
• Supporting toolbox meetings, pre-starts and site reporting

About You To be successful, you will have:

• NACE Level 2 certification – essential
• Extensive industrial Paint & Blast experience
• Previous experience supervising blasting and protective coatings crews
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and industrial coating systems
• Experience completing coating inspections and QA/QC documentation
• Strong understanding of specifications, ITPs and coating procedures
• Demonstrated ability to lead crews in demanding site environments
• Strong safety leadership and communication skills
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Full Australian working rights

Experience within mining, resources, marine, infrastructure, shutdown or heavy industrial environments will be highly regarded.
