Mechanic | EWPs, Trucks & Heavy Plant | Edwardstown

If you’re a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Auto Electrician with strong mechanical knowledge, or an experienced Trades Assistant who wants more variety than standard workshop servicing, this could be the move you’ve been looking for.

Based in Edwardstown, this is a hands-on workshop role working on a fleet that is genuinely different, including truck-mounted EWPs, tippers, chippers, excavators, all-terrain equipment and other specialised machinery used across arboriculture and essential services.

This is a role for someone who likes getting stuck into different problems, not just ticking off the same service sheet every day. You'll be exposed to a mix of servicing, diagnostics, repairs and fault finding, with plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and tackle new challenges

If you enjoy problem solving, getting stuck into different types of equipment and expanding your skills beyond a typical workshop environment, you'll fit right in.

You’ll be part of a supportive team maintaining and repairing a broad fleet of diesel vehicles, plant and equipment. The work has plenty of variety, from scheduled servicing through to fault finding, repairs and getting equipment back out safely and reliably.

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical repairs
• Servicing and maintaining diesel fleet, plant and machinery
• Working on EWPs, tippers, chippers, excavators and all-terrain equipment
• Repairing and maintaining hydraulic systems, steering, suspension and braking
• Testing and adjusting equipment for safe, reliable performance
• Working safely and keeping our fleet ready for crews out in the field

What we’re looking for:

• A current driver’s licence
• Trade qualification in heavy diesel, light vehicle, plant, auto electrical OR strong Trades Assistant experience
• A hands-on approach and willingness to learn
• The ability to work safely and get stuck in as part of a team
• Australian working rights — please note, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role

Desirable, but not essential:

• Auto electrical experience across fleet, plant or mobile equipment
• MR/HR licence
• Hydraulics exposure
