Asset Management & Complex Collections Officer - Hybrid WFH

Start your journey with us by joining our Asset Management team where your main responsibilities will be to manage the Mercantile Agent work and Repossession (Remarketing) process. You will liaise with the panel members of Mercantile Agents and Auction House to effectively process and action all contracts under this portfolio with a view of rehabilitating issued contracts or to redeem the securities back into our custody.

Your opportunity

This role requires the need of sending appropriate repossession notices and ensuring that NFSA is adhering to the Collections Debt and NCCP consumer guidelines as well as exposure to late stage and complex collections and the asset management process. Most importantly you will demonstrate the Nissan Can Do values in every interaction you have with Nissan employees and customers, you will lead by example and motivate others to demonstrate, live and breathe these values.

• Issue contracts to one of the preferred list of Mercantile Agent where they meet specific criteria
• Remarket vehicles via preferred Auction House ensuring the best possible price is achieved
• Ensure Mercantile Agents are held accountable for work being conducted and that it meets NFSA SLA
• Ensure all agent updates are received and loaded, where necessary, in all instances
• Liaise with the Collection Officers to ensure accurate information is issued to Mercantile Agents to ensure effective actioning

You will bring to this role

• Knowledge of debt collections in financial services
• Collections Experience
• Ability to deal with complex collections accounts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
