Disability Support Workers Needed – Launceston & Surrounds (Immediate Start - Both Male & Female staff needed)

We’re looking for compassionate, reliable support workers who enjoy helping people build skills, confidence and independence to join an established support team in Launceston.

• Encouraging independence and building everyday living skills
• Community outings and helping participants explore new interests and experiences

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
• Has previous disability support experience
• Understands and can apply trauma-informed, person-centred practice
• Supports with patience, empathy, choice and respect
• Has clear and confident English communication skills
• Is reliable, compassionate and professional
• Is comfortable around pets and farm animals
• Can encourage skill development without taking over — supporting participants to do more for themselves and build confidence over time
• Can work independently while communicating effectively with the wider support team

Essential: Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWVP, First Aid/CPR, Medication Management and a valid driver’s licence. You must own a road-worthy car.

Pay: $28.00 – $42.00 per hour
