About the role
About us:
pitt&sherry is an Australian employee-owned consultancy. Since 1963, we have been delivering engineering and environmental consulting, advisory and project management services. We thrive on tackling challenging projects that enable us to live up to our vision: inspired thinking to embrace the challenges of a changing world.
We are proud to be Australia's most agile thinkers: we are engineers, scientists, planners, technicians, project managers and consultants and coupled with our multi-disciplinary offering, we deliver solutions that make a true difference to people and place. With seven offices throughout Australia, we are committed to remaining big enough to deliver, small enough to care.
The Opportunity:
As a Roads Engineer at pitt&sherry, you’ll play a key role in the design and delivery of road and civil infrastructure projects across New South Wales. Working as part of our growing Sydney Transport and Infrastructure team, you’ll contribute to a diverse mix of projects for Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW), local councils, government agencies, energy and renewable clients, utilities and private sector clients.
Your work will span concept and feasibility through to detailed design, tender documentation and construction phase support. You might be leading the geometric design of a State road (TfNSW), local road upgrade, supporting access road designs for renewable energy projects, preparing design reports and drawings, or working with clients and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and keep projects moving.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced roads engineer who enjoys technical delivery, client interaction and mentoring others. You’ll have the chance to take ownership of meaningful projects, work closely with experienced engineers and project leaders, and help build capability within a growing team.
