About The Role

Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you'll help lead the team, drive high standards across food quality, service, safety and cleanliness, and contribute to strong commercial performance. As part of the team, you'll also help train our crew and set the culture and standards that every future El Jannah will be measured against.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading from the front and building a positive, high-performing team culture. Whether you're an experienced Assistant Manager, a Shift Leader ready for more responsibility, or a senior team member ready to step up, this is a rare opportunity to grow with a brand that invests in its leaders, from day one in a brand-new state.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting the Restaurant Manager in leading daily restaurant operationsChampioning the EJ Way and a guest-first culture, ensuring consistently high service standardsLeading, coaching and developing team membersSupporting recruitment, onboarding and performance managementOverseeing food safety, cleanliness and WHS standardsManaging stock levels, deliveries and inventory controlsHelping drive sales, manage costs and deliver against restaurant KPIsBuilding strong team engagement and a positive, inclusive workplace

What We're Looking For

1-2 years' experience in a QSR or fast-paced hospitality environmentProven experience leading or supporting teams in a leadership roleStrong communication and people leadership skillsA calm, confident approach and the ability to lead under pressureSound understanding of food safety, WHS and operational complianceStrong organisational and time-management skillsA genuine passion for food, people and guest experienceAvailability to work flexible rosters, including evenings, weekends and the busy summer season
