With the completion of our exciting new purpose-built Science, Enterprise, Technology and Innovation Centre in 2027, we are seeking an exceptional Coordinator of Marine Science and Diving who is passionate about inspiring the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers and critical thinkers. St Mary’s offers an extensive cocurricular diving program for students in Years 9 to 12. The diving program complements the Marine Science pathway and allows students to progressively build their diving qualifications and underwater research skills. Students can participate in qualifications such as the PADI Open Water Scuba Diving qualification and various tours to locations such as the Abrolhos Islands and Mauritius, that occur outside of term time.
The Coordinator of Marine Science and Diving is responsible for leading and developing St Mary’s flagship Marine Science and Diving program across Years 9 to 12. The role plays a key part in maintaining the high profile and reputation of the Marine Science and Diving program while supporting its future growth.
This is a fulltime, ongoing role with a teaching component of 0.7 FTE. The role will commence in January 2027.
