We are a growing transport company based in Queanbeyan and are looking for a reliable, organised and motivated Administration Officer to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day administration of our transport operations and work closely with drivers, customers and management.

Key Responsibilities :-

• General office administration and data entry
• Preparing and processing invoices
• Entering and checking transport jobs and delivery information
• Communicating with drivers and customers
• Scheduling and coordinating transport jobs
• Following up on deliveries, pickups and paperwork
• Checking driver paperwork, timesheets and delivery dockets
• Assisting with accounts and payment follow-ups
• Maintaining accurate records and filing
• Responding to emails and phone enquiries
• Supporting the Transport Manager with daily operational tasks
• Other general administration duties as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual and well organised
• Confident communicating with drivers, customers and suppliers
• Experienced in administration, transport or logistics (preferred)
• Good with computers and Microsoft Office & Xero
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to multitask and work in a busy environment
• Professional and friendly
• Previous experience in a transport company is highly desirable

Transport/logistics administration experience is an advantage, but training will be provided to the right person.
