About the role

Multiple Casual Sales Consultant positions are available.

Gerard McCabe Jewellers is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused Sales Consultants to join our team in our Rundle Mall store. Sales Consultants are valued members of our team. You will play an important role in creating memorable experiences for our clients, helping them find the perfect piece to celebrate life’s special moments from our extensive collection or harnessing your creativity to create a custom piece.

What you'll be doing

1. Provide a premium experience to all customers. 

2. Assist customers with product selection and provide detailed information about our jewellery range. 

3. Customise products for clients using our in-store tools and support.

4. Have strong computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems.

5. Maintain a well-presented and organised retail space.

6. Assist with product merchandising and replenishment.

7. Support the team in achieving sales targets and providing an outstanding customer experience. 

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or luxury environment is highly desirable. 

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers. 

3. A genuine passion for jewellery and/or luxury products. Experience in the jewellery industry will be looked upon favourably, but it is not essential. Gerard McCabe's products and services are unique, and full training is provided.

4. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service. 

5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

6. Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster.
