Lithgow Physiotherapy is offering an experienced physiotherapist the opportunity to step directly into an established clinic with patients ready to be seen, dedicated reception support and guaranteed hours.

Why is the position temporary?

Our current physiotherapist finishes on 17 September 2026, and a permanent replacement has already been secured.

The permanent physiotherapist is completing the necessary pre-employment arrangements before commencing. This locum position will bridge that short transition period and maintain continuity for our established patients.

You will be joining an operating clinic—not rebuilding an empty caseload.

The role

You will independently manage a varied caseload that may include:

• Musculoskeletal and sports injuries

• Post-operative rehabilitation

• WorkCover and CTP clients

• Medicare and DVA patients

• Older adults and community rehabilitation

• Exercise prescription and ongoing rehabilitation programs

The clinic owner will remain available for clinical and operational support throughout the placement.

What you’ll need

• Current AHPRA registration

• Professional indemnity insurance

• Full Australian working rights as we need someone straight away

• Private-practice or relevant musculoskeletal experience

• Confidence managing a caseload independently

• Clear, professional and reassuring communication
