Truck Service/Tyre Fitter

About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, motivated and reliable Service/Tyre Fitter to join our friendly team. Located at our Rocklea Depot, this role will see you service our own fleet of trucks and trailers.

This role will require you to arrive on site each day, inspect the fleet, determine what each vehicle needs, prioritise your work load, and communicate this with the Workshop & Operations Managers.

You will be responsible for:

• Removing existing truck tyres and fitting replacements

• Diagnosing and assessing tyre damage and wear

• Selecting correct tyres, tubes, rims and accessories

• Diagnosing wheel balance problems and balancing wheels

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant must have:

• Previous truck tyre fitting experience

• Electronic balancing experience, or a willingness to learn, is highly desirable

• A current driver's license

• An ability to prioritise and work independently
