Field Service Technician

Based at our Offshore Services Facility in Henderson when not offshore, you'll play a crucial role in assisting with our ongoing offshore projects, both locally and internationally; be provided with opportunities for career advancement and upskilling, and get a day off for your birthday!

This role involves a large amount of autonomy, making it the perfect role for someone who is looking to take ownership and make the role their own.

This role will involve:

• Operational campaign planning;

• Client interface and collaboration;

• Ensuring our equipment is ready for offshore use, and taking it offshore;

• Providing our clients with great service quality offshore;

• Helping to build a team of likeminded colleagues;

• Preparation of project documentation;

• Ensuring compliance with all of AME's policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

• 1 - 5 years experience in a similar role;

• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry with experience in subsea engineering/ drilling and completions/ working offshore;

• Must be able to pass OGUK medical;

• Current BOSIET + CA-EBS beneficial;

• Understanding of drilling, completion and well intervention activities;

• Be prepared for local and international travel;

• Excellent mechanical problem solving skills and able to think outside of the box;

• Be a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic;

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

• Be able to work autonomously as well as part of a small team;

• Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety;
