1st Year Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic

Noranda Service Centre is currently looking for a 1st Year Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team.

Working alongside qualified and skilled motor mechanics, you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support while developing your skills throughout your apprenticeship.

Duties will involve:

• Diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Servicing and maintaining vehicles.
• Carrying out safety checks.
• Learning and using computer diagnostic equipment.
• Assisting qualified technicians with vehicle repairs and servicing.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop and surrounding areas.
• Assisting with general workshop duties, including keeping stock and work areas organised and maintained.

What we expect from our apprentices

As a first-year apprentice, you will be responsible for helping maintain the workshop while learning your trade. This includes keeping the workshop and outside areas clean, organised and stocked, as well as following reasonable management directions.

• Manual driver's licence.
