About Us

We’re Jumping Castles and Slides Cairns, a family-owned and run business. We’re proudly the largest inflatables provider in Cairns and Far North Queensland (FNQ) with the most expansive range of inventory available. We set up big and small inflatables at large scale events, schools, OSHC programs, community events and birthday parties.

About You

We’re looking for physically able and strong people who can commit to weekend and school holiday work for a minimum of three hours, and some weekdays. Occasionally, we travel to remote areas where you’ll be required to overnight in different locations. Our crew lift heavy, are great with kids and are huge safety advocates.

What you'll be doing

• Learn to safely set up and pack down 80-300kg inflatables using appropriate equipment.
• Supervise and safely manage the flow of children.
• Work at schools, festivals, sporting events, and community events with some driving between locations.

• Work as part of a team or autonomously, depending on the event.
• Help deliver unforgettable experiences across FNQ.

• Manage conflict and deescalate issues well.

• Communicate effectively and can give clear instructions to children.
• Deliver work priorities that align with strict safety regulations and processes.

• Can be outside in the elements for extended periods.

Highly desirable

• Driver's license.
• Own reliable vehicle.
• Vehicle with towing capacity.
• Blue Card.

Blue Card Required

A current Blue Card is required before commencing employment. Applicants are responsible for obtaining their initial Blue Card. If you become a long-term member of our team, we'll happily cover the cost of all future renewals.

• If you are physically able and strong for the purpose of lifting and pushing heavy equipment.

• If you have a current driver's license and vehicle with towing capacity.
