Full-Time Architectural Graduate and/or Registered Architect for our Clayfield Office.
WIM Architects
WIM Architects is a medium size business focused on commercial buildings, in particular buildings for the Automotive industry. We are committed to creating unique spaces for our clients to sell, trade, repair and service the vehicles of their customers . Our work is Australia wide.
We are the National Automotive Architects for Isuzu Ute Australia , BYD Australia , Mitsubishi Australia and Honda Australia alongside representing some of the biggest Automotive Companies in Australia.
The Role
WIM Architects has a unique opportunity for an experienced graduate or registered architect to work with an experienced senior architect in a small team in Clayfield, Brisbane.
The company, as part of succession planning, is transitioning from 2 full office locations to a main office at the Gold Coast and a satellite office in Brisbane.
The Brisbane office will continue to procure buildings, within the larger office structure and with assistance from the main office.
The role offered will be one, where the right candidate will be provided and supported with an accelerated growth path that will encompass responsibilities and tasks to suit the revised office set-up.
This will be a unique opportunity for the right candidate to grow, while working on the full range of architectural services.
A management role could be available for the right person.
Applicant
Preferable 3+ years of Australian industry experience, and a Master’s degree in Architecture.
Sound knowledge of townplanning principles, design principles, building materials, construction details, BCA and AS’s.
Strong proficiency in Revit and 3D render software. Knowledge of Autocad.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey design intent and respond to client and consultant queries.
Proven ability to manage time, a range of projects concurrently, and delegated tasks.
Proactive and eager to develop professionally within a collaborative environment.
Currently residing in Australia, with Australian citizenship or permanent residency
