Service Technician - Fixed Site

At Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA), we are seeking Service Technicians reporting into our Melbourne Branch and work on all types of material handling equipment. We are accepting Technicians/Mechanics from all relevant trades and will support you through the transition.

We currently have mutiple vacancies available for the following positions:

• Service Technician (Fixed Site) West regions of Melbourne 
• Skilled Workshop Technicians.

About the Role:

Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) are currently seeking a Technician to support our Melbourne branch.

In this role you will carry out breakdown / repairs / routine maintenance on all types of material handling equipment across Melbourne. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
• Maintain professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets and any other administrative components.

Qualifications, Requirements & Skills:

• Current Driver's licence.
• Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).
• Forklift Licence & LPG Certificate would be an advantage but not essential. 

Can Demonstrate:

• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• Well-developed mechanical aptitude.
• Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry. (desirable)
• Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures, safe work practices, statutory responsibilities and licensing requirements.
