About the role
About the role
As a Wheelchair and Mobility Equipment Specialist, you'll join Move Mobility's Complex Mobility team and play a key role in growing the company's presence across the Mackay, Whitsundays, Bundaberg and Central Queensland region. You'll work closely with clients, their families and allied health professionals — Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists — to recommend and deliver seating and mobility solutions. With autonomy over your own diary and territory, you'll travel to clients in the community — homes, schools, hospitals and clinics — conducting hands-on trials, assessments and demonstrations tailored to each person's clinical and functional needs. Full training on products and processes is provided.
Key responsibilities
Recommend and demonstrate seating and mobility solutions tailored to each client's needs
Conduct equipment trials and assessments with clients, families and allied health professionals
Provide expert advice and in-service education to clinicians, clients and their families on healthcare equipment
Prepare quotations and guide clients through the funding and decision-making process (NDIS, DVA, aged care, private)
Build and manage strong relationships with allied health professionals and referral partners across the region
Help grow Move Mobility's Complex Mobility Division in the Mackay region
Attend industry events and represent Move Mobility in the local community
Maintain professionalism, empathy and integrity in every client interaction
About you
Experience in customer-facing sales or relationship-based roles
Mechanically minded with an interest in equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex needs
Ability to safely lift and demonstrate equipment
Current Australian driver's licence
Willingness to obtain Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
Background in healthcare, OT or seating/mobility is a bonus, not a requirement
