Sales Representative – Mobility Equipment / Wheelchairs

About the role

As a Wheelchair and Mobility Equipment Specialist, you'll join Move Mobility's Complex Mobility team and play a key role in growing the company's presence across the Mackay, Whitsundays, Bundaberg and Central Queensland region. You'll work closely with clients, their families and allied health professionals — Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists — to recommend and deliver seating and mobility solutions. With autonomy over your own diary and territory, you'll travel to clients in the community — homes, schools, hospitals and clinics — conducting hands-on trials, assessments and demonstrations tailored to each person's clinical and functional needs. Full training on products and processes is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Recommend and demonstrate seating and mobility solutions tailored to each client's needs

• Conduct equipment trials and assessments with clients, families and allied health professionals

• Provide expert advice and in-service education to clinicians, clients and their families on healthcare equipment

• Prepare quotations and guide clients through the funding and decision-making process (NDIS, DVA, aged care, private)

• Build and manage strong relationships with allied health professionals and referral partners across the region

• Help grow Move Mobility's Complex Mobility Division in the Mackay region

• Attend industry events and represent Move Mobility in the local community

• Maintain professionalism, empathy and integrity in every client interaction

About you

• Experience in customer-facing sales or relationship-based roles

• Mechanically minded with an interest in equipment

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex needs

• Ability to safely lift and demonstrate equipment

• Current Australian driver's licence

• Willingness to obtain Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check

• Background in healthcare, OT or seating/mobility is a bonus, not a requirement
