The Opportunity (Field Service)

• We’re looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our Field Service team, supporting a modern fleet on site. You’ll be trusted to diagnose, repair and maintain equipment to a high standard — with the tools, technology and support to do it right.

• Field-based diagnostics, breakdown response and scheduled servicing

• Fault finding across diesel engines, hydraulics, powertrain, braking and electrical systems

• High-quality repairs with strong attention to safety, workmanship and compliance

• Clear job card notes, service reporting and component history updates

• Work collaboratively with operations to minimise downtime and improve reliability

Roster & Travel

• 2/2 roster: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

• FIFO-style travel: ex Australian capital cities

• Accommodation and meals provided while on shift (site dependent)

What You’ll Need

• Australian recognised trade qualification: Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Plant Mechanic

• Solid experience on heavy mobile equipment in mining, earthmoving or construction environments

• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work autonomously in the field

• HR (Heavy Rigid) driver’s licence — essential

• A proactive safety mindset and clear communication in a high-tempo environment

 Highly regarded (but not essential):

• High-risk tickets (e.g., EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights)

• First Aid

• OEM exposure and strong component change-out experience
