Company DescriptionChoosey App, powered by Clipboard Hospitality, is working with North Port Hotel — an independently owned local pub in Port Melbourne, run by the same team for eight years — to find their next 2IC. North Port is known for doing pub classics properly (weekend roasts, steak nights, a weekly specials board the kitchen team helps write) and for genuinely knowing its regulars, including the travellers staying in the accommodation upstairs.
Role DescriptionThe 2IC (Front of House) is a full-time, on-site role at North Port Hotel, 146 Evans St, Port Melbourne. Reporting to the GM, this role owns the floor day to day: greeting and looking after regulars, leading a small team through service, and stepping in to make decisions when the GM isn't there. It's a hands-on role behind the bar and on the floor, not a desk-based management position. The 2IC also keeps front of house and the kitchen connected so service runs smoothly, and helps set the tone and standard the team works to.$75,000–$80,000 + super, plus a 1% sign-on bonus. Full-time, immediate start.
