About the role
About us
Advance Healthcare have been providing multi-disciplinary services including physiotherapy to the community for over 25 years. We pride ourselves on the highest standards in health service delivery with an evidence-based approach to patient management. This role is ideally suited to practitioners wanting to fulfil their clinical and commercial potential in a highly paying and performance focussed team environment.
Chronic pain is complex and optimally treated in a multi-disciplinary pain management program (including physiotherapy, psychology, nutrition and medical). With seven clinics, we are one of the largest Pain Management providers in Australia. Evidence on the effectiveness of our programs have been demonstrated compared to 120 other pain management providers in the Electronic Persistent Pain Outcomes Collaboration (ePPOC).
Applicants do not need experience in pain management and full training and mentoring is provided. All our practitioners are committed to life long learning and a process of continuous improvement of our clinical standards. Your caseload will be predominantly pain management patients. Opportunities are available for supported programs leading towards clinical titling and specialisation working with Associate Professor Jon Ford (PhD and Specialist Pain and Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist).
Our clinical model emphasises individualised care for all patients involving a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment and treatment based on the prioritised barriers to recovery. This approach develops the practitioner's skill in biological and psychosocially informed practice which includes high level clinical reasoning and clinical skills from a musculoskeletal perspective. Our mentoring and student supervision program provides further opportunity to develop musculoskeletal skills. This learning experience is comparable with clinical supervision in a Musculoskeletal Masters program (despite the caseload being chronic pain).
Advance Healthcare embraces inclusion and diversity and has a unique organisational culture and practitioner retention rate. Work-life balance is paramount to the sustained success.
