Qualified CNC Machinist

Manufacturing in Brisbane since 1896, Rogers-Willex is Australia’s leading manufacturer of medium duty air brake trailer axles, and trailer components.
 

We are seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team. Experience in programming and operating CNC Lathes, and Milling Machines. We use 3 Axis OKUMA & Hyundai lathes and HASS Milling Machine. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming.

We are seeking a candidate that meets the following criteria:

• Trade Qualified

• Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings and Specs

• Set up Jigs/Fixtures, Datum Points and Tool Heights. Load, unload and run machines

• Inspect & QC components per drawings and tolerances

• An ability to work autonomously and in a team environment with Apprentices

• Be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy

• Own transport required

• Forklift ticket desirable

• Provide current references

This is full-time position. Hours Mon-Friday 7am to 3pm
