The role: Team Leader - Retail

We see your role as one of the most critical roles for our business. This roles is responsible for delivering outstanding service to customers, assisting with managing the branch’s sales strategy, training new team members, maximising branch sales and supporting team performance.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Team Leader – Sales assists in generating new quotes and following up on existing quotes, ensuring that all sale opportunities are attended to.

This position will be based at our Salisbury Branch. Onsite parking and Saturday shift penalty rates available!

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver exceptional customer service, manage complaints professionally, handle calls efficiently, and create a welcoming in-store experience.
• Generate and follow up quotes promptly, process invoices and sales orders on time, and maintain accurate branch operations.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, support promotional activities, ensure health and safety compliance, and manage inventory levels with relevant teams.
• Train, mentor, and motivate team members, supporting recruitment and performance to achieve sales objectives.
• Contribute to business growth strategies by attracting new customers and maximising revenue through cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

Skills & Experience Required

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a retail environment in a managerial role
• Strong leadership and customer management abilities
• Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
