About the role
Your opportunityAs a Corporate Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the integrity of the Group's financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and maintaining a strong control environment. Working as part of the Group Finance team, you will contribute to monthly, half-year and year-end reporting, group consolidations, statutory financial reporting, technical accounting analysis and audit coordination.Day-to-day you will:Assist with the half-year and year-end Trust consolidation processMaintain consolidation journals and reporting adjustmentsAssist in drafting half-year and annual financial statements and supporting disclosuresAssist in the preparation of Executive and Audit & Finance Committee reporting packsSupport the completion of half-year and year-end external reporting requirementsPrepare subsidiary/sub trust financial statementsPrepare half-yearly tax calculationsMonthly GL close including account reconciliations and preparation of adhoc reports & analysisExposure to capital transactions such as investment acquisitions or disposals, debt or equity raisingContribute to the review and improvement of processes
This is a permanent, full time role. What sets you apartWe are seeking a proactive individual with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes initiative and values working alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive team environment.Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance is required4+ years accounting experience, ideally gained in audit or a corporate accounting environment.CA/CPA qualified or currently working towards your CA/CPA qualificationNaturally curious, with an interest in technical accounting and keeping up to date with changes in accounting standards.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality workA proactive approach, with the confidence to take initiative and contribute across a variety of tasks
